CTRIC III is a combination of CTRIC II and another DTRA program called BTRIC, Biological Threat Reduction Integration Contracts.

The contract is a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), intended to counter global weapons of mass destruction (WMD) threats by working with partner countries to:

Since those days, the program has expanded to include threat mitigation in everything from chemical weapons to Ebola. Today, contractors under CTRIC III will be responsible for implementing task orders like logistics, training and infrastructure in areas including North Africa, Ukraine, Southeast Asia, and West Africa. The DTRA held one CTRIC III Industry Day in June, and will hold a second Industry Day on the 13th and 14th of December. The day will include open discussions about small business participation. Twelve companies signed up for one-on-one meeting slots.
