NIH CIO-SP3 SB On-Ramp Advances for 8(a) Businesses

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is proceeding with the on-ramp on Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 Small Business (CIO-SP3 SB) IDIQ. The CIO-SP3 SB IDIQ is worth approximately $20 billion over the course of ten years and provides government agencies a mechanism to help meet socio-economic contracting goals for businesses meeting small business, WOSB, 8(a), SDVOSB, and HUBZone requirements. It includes 137 labor categories and ten task areas for various tech/IT requirements within the 541512 NAICS.

The most recent on-ramp is for the 8(a) portion of the IDIQ with 99 intended awardees. Four awardees have been fully confirmed. They include Cloud Nine Technologies, Apogee-SAIC Capabilities Integrator, Synergy Business Innovation and Solutions, and Strategic Operational Solutions. The remaining contract awards are pending eligibility determinations from the Small Business Administration (SBA) for CIO-SP3 SB and are as follows:
