It’s expected that a $5 billion request for proposal (RFP) for power generation services will be formally issued on June 20th from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The contract is a multiple-award task order contract (MATOC) for several awardees and the place of performance is Puerto Rico.

Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for operating the equipment, which involves maintenance, fuel management, coordinating with PREPA and LUMA regarding operational schedules, and establishing connections with their respective equipment.
