DOD Information Analysis Center MAC Mod

The Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DOD IAC) multiple award contract (MAC) received a $20 billion contract modification from the U.S. Air Force for research and development (R&D) support services. This modification, announced on June 21st by the DOD, involves 25 companies who have been awarded the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. The project is set to be completed by September 29, 2027, and with this modification, the program’s total value has expanded to $48 billion.

The USAF’s 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron had previously indicated its intention to raise the contract ceiling back in September 2022. However, the modification does not alter the contract’s scope, which encompasses an incredibly vast 22 technical focus areas (TFA). Please see below for a listing.

The initial Pool 1, which is full and open with task order values above $15 million has an ordering period through March 30th of 2028. The second pool for small businesses with task orders under $15 million has an ordering period through April 1st, 2028. Pool 3 for CBRN Lab is performed in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield Explosives (CBRNE) facilities and is open until the 30th of March 2028.
